In Partnership with the New Rochelle Community Justice Center (NRCJC)

CTG partnered with the New Rochelle Community Justice Center (NRCJC) to expand access to transformational education for youth in Westchester County and beyond.

Through this collaboration, the Change The Game Educational Program will be integrated into NRCJC’s community and justice initiatives, equipping young people with the tools to redefine their identities, shift their mindsets, and break generational cycles.

Together, CTG and NRCJC are building pathways from survival to leadership, offering practical frameworks that turn lived experience into purpose-driven growth.

This partnership represents the heart of CTG’s mission: bringing transformation to the frontlines of change, where it’s needed most.

About CTG

Change The Game (CTG) is an educational and personal development program designed to break cycles of survival and build cycles of power.

Developed by author and educator T.M. Jefferson, the program helps participants take control of their story, shift their mindset, and rebuild their identity from the inside out.

Born from lived experience, CTG was created for those who’ve faced real barriers, incarceration, poverty, system involvement, or environments where opportunity feels out of reach. Through a structured 12-week curriculum, participants learn how to analyze their past, redefine their narrative, and develop the tools to create lasting change.

At its core, CTG is built around three pillars: Identity. Mindset. Power.

Each page of the CTG Workbook guides individuals through reflection, self-assessment, and goal-setting, helping them connect who they are with who they’re becoming. This isn’t just theory. It’s transformation in motion, happening in schools, shelters, detention centers, and communities across the country.

The mission is simple:
To teach people how to think strategically, live intentionally, and move powerfully.

Whether you’re an educator, mentor, or community leader, CTG gives you a framework to guide real change. And for participants, it becomes something more, a blueprint to rewrite their story.

Our Mission

To empower justice-involved and marginalized communities to take control of their stories, build new identities, and create sustainable change, within themselves and their environments.

We teach one core truth: “Power is a mindset. Change the way you see yourself, and you change the game.”

CTG is built on four modules:

CTG for Middle School Youth: Impact Starts Early

Change The Game (CTG) is fully adaptable for middle school students (ages 11-14), meeting them at a critical turning point in identity, resilience, and personal growth.

Our curriculum has been specially designed to connect with and empower middle schoolers:

  • Age-Appropriate Content: Lessons and activities are tailored for younger minds, using relatable language, smaller group discussion, and hands-on projects.

  • Social-Emotional Learning Focus: CTG’s storytelling, self-reflection, and group work deliver the SEL tools that early adolescents need to handle peer pressure, build self-worth, and make positive choices.

  • Flexible Delivery: CTG can be run in schools, after-school programs, clubs, or community centers, virtually any setting, including those with limited space.

  • Proven Engagement: Feedback from educators and students affirms that CTG’s lived experience approach builds trust, inspires participation, and nurtures lasting transformation even at the middle school level.

We invite partners, educators, and youth leaders to join us in bringing CTG’s breakthrough model to middle schoolers citywide, providing practical tools and hope when it matters most.
